A short while back, Reggy Short and his fiancé Kimberly asked me for some "reasonable indulgence" in helping them complete their wedding plans. "Reasonable indulgence?" I thought to myself, "For what?" Well, that's due to the incredibly unique nature of Reggy and Kimberly's ceremony in which this couple will not only be completing their wedding vows and tying the knot but also as triathletes finishing the Michigan Titanium Triathlon! That's right, Triathletes Tying the Knot During the Michigan Titanium Triathlon! Talk about fun and meaningful.
I'm so pleased to be a part of Kimberly and her fiancé, Reggy's special day and to help design a ceremony where these two will become husband and wife. They are a great example of how couples are choosing to honor their desires in be married in a way that honors their relationship.
From the beginning this couple has shared a passion for running; they actually met in a running club. After some time Reggy proposed to Kimberly at the “Running of the Green” event in Colorado where he greeted her on one knee at the finish line and asked her to marry him (more details here in the official Triathletes Tying the Knot During the Michigan Titanium Triathlon press release story) and now during another impressive endurance event they will be married! An apt ending and beginning to a new and exciting season in their lives!
